New York
Sonya Blesofsky (Studio Residency in Malmö ’16) has a solo show, Afterimage, in the Wave Hill Sunroom Project Space, the Bronx. Hurry—show closes July 9!
Cheyenne Mallo (Studio intern ’11) is one of the local artists participating in Byrdcliffe’s Artist Spotlights at the Byrdcliffe Shop. Find her there July 29, 11 am – 6 pm!
Irene Chan (Studio intern ’96, Art-in-Ed Artist’s Book Grant resident ’98) and Heather Kapplow (Public Arts Grant resident ’17) are participating in group show Tongue Tide at the Flux Factory, Queens. Show closes July 30.
Allora McCullough (Ceramic intern ’16) has a solo show, Everything’s Fine, at Saratoga Clay Arts Center, Schuylerville, where she is an artist-in-residence. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit WellSpring of Saratoga, a women’s organization providing assistance to women and children leaving dangerous home situations. Kathleen Sherin (Studio Grant resident ’01) has her solo show Resonance at the Pausa Art House, Buffalo. Show runs through August 19.
Jill Parisi (Studio Grant resident ‘0) is showing work in the group exhibition Flora Fantastica! in the Glyndor Gallery at Wave Hill, the Bronx. Show runs July 16 – August 27; opening reception July 16, 2 – 4:30 pm.
Kathleen Sherin’s has her solo show Resonance is at the Pausa Art House through August 19!
Kate Hamilton (Ora Schneider Regional Grant resident ’12) is one of sixteen women artists showing work in A Declaration of Sentiments: Reflections on the Centennial of Women’s Right to Vote in New York State at the Athens Cultural Center, Athens. Show runs through August 20.
Tatana Kellner (WSW Co-founder) and Tate Klacsmann (Studio Workspace resident ’15) are showing work in the Exhibition by Artists of the Mohawk-Hudson Region at the Albany Institute of History & Art. Tate received a Purchase Award and the Stuyvesant Plaza, Inc. Award, Tatana received the Robert J. Krackeler Award. Show runs through September 3.
Golnar Adili (Studio Grant resident ’15), Rejin Leys (Studio intern ’89), Carrie Moyer (Studio Workspace resident ’95), and Vilja Virks-Lee (Studio Grant resident ’03) are 4 of 98 artists showing work in Just Under 100: New Prints 2017/Summer at the International Print Center New York, Manhattan. Show runs through September 16.
Lizz Thabet (Digital Content Manager ’14) is in the group show Summer of Selfish at Little Skips, Brooklyn. The exhibition celebrates the fifth issue of Selfish Magazine and raises funds to support the new Brooklyn-based Tiny Hero Press. Show runs through September.
Emily Noelle Lambert’s (Studio intern ’94) site-specific installation Tangle, featuring her largest single panel painting, is on view at 55 5th Ave, Manhattan, through October 1.
Rejin Leys (Studio intern ’89) is showing work in Uptown: Nasty Women/Bad Hombres at El Museo del Barrio, Manhattan. The exhibition highlights the work of artists addressing sexism, racism, homophobia, media, politics, health, the environment, and violence through various media. Show runs through November 5.

Dani Leventhal (Studio intern ’97, Artist’s Book Grant resident ’07) has her solo show Pine Forest at Gaa Gallery, Provincetown, MA. Hurry—show closes July 10!
Amanda Thackray (Artist’s Book Grant resident ’09) has her solo show, Porifera, at Index Art Center, Newark, NJ. Show closes July 21.
C.R. Cooper (Non-profit Management intern ’17) is showing work in Chasing Paper at Creative York, York, PA. The exhibition showcases works that incorporate paper, a commonplace material, to produce extraordinary art. Show runs through August 12.
Jennifer Yorke (Studio intern ’95) will have work in the group show Buoyancy at the Strauss Gallery, Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH. Show runs through August 20.
Tate Klacsmann (Studio Workspace resident ’15) and Beth Fein (Studio Workspace resident ’17) are showing in the 11th Biennial Miniature Print Competition 2017 at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, CT. Show runs through August 27.
Midwest
Paula McCartney (Production Grant resident ’05) is exhibiting the artist’s book made during her WSW residency in her solo exhibition, Bird Watching, at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, IN. Show runs through October 8.
West

Carissa Carman (Studio intern ’03, Artist’s Book Grant resident ’05) both co-curated and is showing in the group exhibition On Point: Off Grain with Ellie Honl at the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles, CA. Hurry—show closes July 16!
Diane Jacobs (Artist’s Book Grant resident ’00) will be giving an artist’s talk about her books, including her WSW-published artist’s book Alphabet Tricks, at the Collins Memorial Library at the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA. Don’t miss—the talk is July 31, 12:30 – 1:30 pm.
Ellen Sollod (Artist’s Book Grant resident ’90) is showing work in Into the Deep, an exhibition featuring the work of sixteen artists at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA. Over 55 artworks illustrate the visual similarities between glass and water. Show runs through September.
Diane Jacobs (Artist’s Book Grant resident ’00) is showing her book AMAZONS in Power of the Page: Artists Books as Agents for Change at the New Museum, Los Gatos, CA. Show runs through September 17.
South
