May 1 – May 22: Join us at WSW’s campus in Rosendale for the opening reception of Spring into the Studios this Friday, May 1, from 5-7PM! Celebrating 40 years of the Art-In-Education program, this exhibition will showcase the work made by fourth grade students from Chambers, E.R. Crosby, and Harry L. Edson Elementary. This event is free and open to the public.

April 24 – May 20: Check out S.R. Lejeune’s (Studio Internship 2016, Art-In-Ed Workspace Residency 2025, Studio Workspace Residency 2026) solo exhibition Witness Marks at HESSE FLATOW, on view until May 20th. HESSE FLATOW is open Tuesday-Saturday, from 11AM-6PM.

April 25 – May 17: Go see Judith Hoyt’s (Artist’s Book Residency Grant, 1983) show Reimaging the Past at Wired Gallery! “In this new body of work, she revisits her own earlier prints, cutting and reconfiguring them into fresh compositions that bridge past and present.” Wired Gallery is open Saturday and Sunday from 5-7PM.

May 2 – May 3: Cynthia Winika (Artist’s Book Residency Grant, 2001) will be participating in the Gardiner Open Studio Tour this weekend from 10AM-5PM, Saturday and Sunday. You can find more info about the event and a map of studios participating here.
May 2 – June 28: Attend the opening reception of Lukaza Branfman-Verissimo’s (Studio Residency Grant, 2023) exhibition Steadfast Study Saturday May 2nd, at September Gallery from 5-7 PM, masks required.
