April 10, 2025Every month we highlight exhibitions, events, and workshops that feature WSW alumnx artists! We share the shows near and far that make up our monthly must-see list.
New York
March 19-May 25: For an exhibition born out of research and material exploration, view Kimi Malka Hanauer’s (Artist’s Book Residency Grant, 2019) ungovernable at Printed Matter.

March 31-June 6: Explore SR Lejeune‘s (Studio Internship, 2016, AIE Workspace Residency, 2025) handmade paper practice at Dieu Donné for their solo exhibition witness marks.
April 26: Join us at Women’s Studio Workshop for the opening of Shared Spaces, an exhibition featuring work by 4th and 8th grade students from the Kingston City School District! Join us in our gallery on April 26th to celebrate these young artists and view their work showcasing all they learned in our studios!
Pennsylvania
February 21-April 14: 20 * 20 House in Lansdowne, PA will feature work by Jen Blazina (Studio Workspace Residency 2006, 2009, Studio Residency Grant 2008) for their show Object Memory.
Oregon
April 17-May 25: After a five month residency at GLEAN, Diane Jacobs‘ (Artist’s Book Residency Grant, 2000) culminating project will be on display in Portland, Oregon.
California
April 11 – May 24: Lisson Gallery in Los Angeles will display a selection of work by Carolee Schneemann (Parts of a Body House Book reprint, 2020). This multimedia exhibition will feature video, painting, and other work from across Schneemann’s career.

This month, our friends at Vamp & Tramp Booksellers are featuring The Moon has no weather by Sarah Peters (Artist Book Residency Grant, 2003, 2013) on their homepage for April’s theme of Space: Out of this World.
Andrea Chung (Studio Residency Grant, 2016) just wrapped her powerful solo show Between Too Late and Too Early at the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami. You can read a review of the exhibition in this Hyperallergic Article.
