Zarina Hashmi (Artist’s Book Grant resident ’91) is showing work in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s exhibition Workshop and Legacy alongside Stanley William Hayter and Krishna Reddy. Show runs through March 26, 2017.
Joan Giordano (Studio Workspace resident ’06, Studio Workspace resident ’08) is showing a series of textile and mixed media relief sculptures in the solo exhibition Woven in Time at the June Kelly Gallery in New York City. Hurry—show closes October 8!
Barbara Beisinghoff (Artist’s Book Grant resident ’09) is showing her exhibition When Light Touches Paper at the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center and the Vassar College Library, Poughkeepsie, NY. Hurry—show closes October 14!
Golnar Adili (Legacy Studio Grant resident ’15) is holding a solo exhibition, Language Landscape, at the Kentler International Drawing Space, Brooklyn, NY. Show closes October 23, 2016; artist talk October 15, 4 p.m.
Tatana Kellner (WSW Artistic Director and Co-founder) is showing work in the group exhibition Transformational Imagemaking: Handmade Photography Since 1960 at the Bevier Gallery, Rochester, NY. Show runs October 7 – November 6, 2016; opening reception October 13, 5 – 7 p.m.
Mindell Dubansky (Artist’s Book Grant resident ’99) is showing Blooks: The Art of Books that Aren’t at the Charles P. Stevenson Jr. Library, Bard College in Annandale-On-Hudson, NY. Show runs until October 14th on the second floor of the library and October 30 in the lobby.
Jennifer Grimyser (Studio Workspace resident ’07, Artist’s Book Grant resident ‘08) is showing in the group exhibition Work: Reflections on Failure at the Radiator Gallery, Long Island City, NY. Show runs through November 12, 2016.
Linda Montano (Artist’s Book Grant resident ’83) is showing her book The Art / Life Institute Handbook, published by WSW, at the Center for Book Arts’ Enacting the Text, along with WSW alumna Pat Oleszko (Public Art Grant resident ’14). Show runs October 7 – December 17, 2016.
Megan Duffy (Art-in-Ed Workspace resident ’16) is showing in Ink, Press, Repeat, a national juried exhibition of print media and book art. The show, at the William Paterson University Galleries in Wayne, NJ. Hurry—show closes October 14!
Fay Ku (Studio Grant resident ’11) is showing work in the group exhibition I Found God in Myself: the 40th Anniversary of Ntozake Shange’s For Colored Girl at the African American Museum in Philadelphia, PA. Show runs through January 2, 2017.
Mary Gordon (Summer intern ’14, Studio intern ’16) is showing work in Fresh Ink 2016 at Wonder Fair Gallery in Lawrence, KS. The exhibition is juried by another WSW alumna, Katie Baldwin. Hurry—show closes October 16!

DM Witman (Studio Workspace resident ’12) is showing work in STUMP at Candela Books + Gallery in Richmond, VA. The exhibition showcases the politically and socially-engaged photography of seven artists. Show closes October 22, 2016.
Diane Jacobs (Artist’s Book Grant resident ’00) is showing in 4th Anniversary Group Show – SLOW at Oranj Studio, Portland, OR. Show runs October 8 – December 31, 2016; opening reception October 8 from 5 – 7 p.m.
Carson Fox (Studio Grant resident ’00) is showing work at the Fowler Museum at UCLA, CA. She was one of 36 artists commissioned to contribute to The Box Project: Uncommon Threads. Show closes January 15, 2017.
Ellen Sollod (Artist’s Book Grant resident ’90) is showing work in Into the Deep, an exhibition featuring the work of sixteen artists at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, WA. Over 55 artworks will illustrate the visual similarities between glass and water. Show runs through September, 2017.
Carly Butler (Parent Grant resident ’15) is showing work in a group show at Georgia Scherman Projects in Toronto. The exhibition, Life Bearings, will feature work she created at WSW. Hurry—show closes October 8!
Antonia Aitken (Art-in-Ed Artist’s Book Grant resident ’11) is showing recent work from her Ph.D. project in the exhibition Tangled/Entangled at the Entrepot Gallery, Hobart, Tasmania. Hurry—show closes October 13!
Diane Jacobs (Artist’s Book Grant resident ’00) is showing her book Hair Talk: Volume II in the group exhibition Hairy Matter at the PLADS Artspace, Aarhus, Denmark. Show runs through October 29, 2016.
Tatiana Klacsmann (Studio Workspace resident ’15) is showing work in the juried exhibition Breaking New Ground, celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of Baldwin Ink Ground at the Aberystwyth School of Art in Wales. Show run October 10 – November 18, 2016.
