Missing something from your dining room table? In search of a centerpiece to catch your dinner guests’ eyes? Look no further! In this five-week class you will be introduced to forms such as vases, pitchers, and centerpieces. Coursework will be geared towards intermediate students and will cover throwing, altering, and building in parts from multiple wheel-thrown pieces. You’ll be able to create statuesque forms to brighten up your home and get any dinner guest talking.

Lena Chin
Lena Chin received her BFA in Ceramics from SUNY New Paltz in 2018. Chin is interested in the physical movement of surface and its interaction with illustration. She creates porcelain wares that promote intimate moments, rewarding the observant viewer with intricate details. She has exhibited at Samuel Dorsky Museum, Art Centro, and the Women’s Studio Workshop Gallery. She was born and maintains a studio practice in the Hudson Valley.
