Learn to build colorful monoprints using non-toxic, water-based materials. Participants will print from watercolor paintings on plexiglass, plastic stencils, and water-soluble crayon drawings. With a focus on experimentation, participants will investigate various mark-making techniques, and learn to build a rich history of layers into their prints using ghost printing. This class offers a healthier alternative to more traditional oil-based printing, without sacrificing bold color and texture.
