Pamela J Wallace, a sculptor with expert welding and blackmith skills, came to Women’s Studio Workshop from Germantown, NY on an Ora Schneider Residency Grant. Working in the papermaking and ceramics studio, Pamela began a new body of work by creating a series of nearly identical forms as a structure for very translucent abaca, and casting clay and plaster everyday objects such as oil cans. She is represented by the John Davis Gallery in Hudson, NY.
