Anne-Marie Lavigne

Anne-Marie Lavigne is an artist mixing traditional textile and printmaking processes with new materials. She lives and works between Brooklyn and Montreal and graduated with an MPS from Interactive Telecommunications Program of NYU TISCH School of Arts. Her artistic practice involves combining traditional textile-making and printmaking techniques with technological imagery and materials. During her residency, Anne-Marie made a series of prints using inks that change depending on their environment, focusing on UV and glow-in-the-dark inks.

Anne-Marie would like to extend a special thanks to all the interns and team member of WSW, especially to studio manager Chris Petrone, Tana Kellner, Ann Ann Kalmbach, Chelsea Campbell and the interns Liz Melnyczuk, Mary Gordon and Kieran Riley Abbott for all of their help during her residency.
