March 13 – April 12: Join us Friday, March 13th, from 6-8PM, for the opening of i had this dream and you were in it. An exhibition of new work by WSW Interns Ollantay Avila Alcocer, Carissa Kolcun, and Kimberly Jo, the show asks: What does it look like to explore multiple possibilities of dreaming in the studio? Come find out Friday night!

March 7: Join the fun at Field of Play and participate in their experimental exhibition TRADING CARDS III. Including work by Jennifer Grimyser (Studio Workspace Residency, 2007, Artist’s Book Residency Grant 2008), the opening from 6-8PM on March 7th “allows artists in the show to trade with one another AND works to be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.”

March 8 – April 11: The 2026 Every Woman Biennial SPECTALiA opens this weekend at Pen + Brush Gallery. Featuring work by Jennifer Grimyser , “the salon-style exhibition features painting, photography, installation, sculpture, video art, textile, and multimedia works, activated by performance, dance, music, poetry readings, theater, and film.”

March 27 – April 30: Annie O’Neill, one of WSW’s most prolific and longest Chili Bowl decorators, is showing her paintings at the Rosendale Theatre. The show will be up until the end of April. The opening will be on Friday, April 3rd from 5-6:30PM.

Open Studio: Jayoung Yoon (Ora Schneider Regional Residency Grant, 2018) is currently in residence at the Museum of Art and Design. Want to check out what she’s working on? Visit during her open studio hours on Fridays from 10:30AM-5:30PM.

April 9 – April 12: As a part of the art collective Verse in Print, Laura Berman (Studio Internship, 1997) will be sharing new prints and multiples at the Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair. Find more information about the fair and purchase tickets here.
