Did you know that WSW’s library and archive are op Did you know that WSW’s library and archive are open to the public by appointment? We have a complete collection of all the Artist Books we have published since 1979. For researchers, there is organizational ephemera and newsletters dating back to 1974. Additionally, our collection includes prints, posters, periodicals, books, zines, and catalogs that cover a wide range of feminist art and printmaking history.

Let’s take a moment to meet the artists of our upc Let’s take a moment to meet the artists of our upcoming exhibition, “Inventory,” featuring work by WSW’s Studio Interns Ruth Marks @rruffie, Daniella Porras @_daniella_porras_, and Heidi Tejeda Mata @tt.dey. Mark your calendars for the opening reception on August 28th!

Ruth Marks is a printmaker and illustrator whose work reveals how people across time and space are entangled and connected. She uses scenes of everyday life to show how things slowly change over time. She believes that these inevitabilities of change, both small and drastic, are what unite people together. A person is composed of layers of history, human connection, and memories. They are an amalgamation of the past, present, and future. So is a print!

We were glad to be back for another @cpw_kingston We were glad to be back for another @cpw_kingston Photobook & Zine Fair! It was fantastic to (re)connect with all the vendors, locals, and folks who were visiting the Hudson Valley for the weekend. Also, it was an extra special fair for us since Meg Turner @megprinter was in town for the release of her new Artist Book “WET Vol.2”. If you were lucky, you got to hear her present about her wet-plate collodion and photogravure-printed process that span the book’s 22 oversized pages.

We also got to share our latest publications like “Iniquity/Inequity” by KaKeART @tatana1950 & @annkalmbach, and it was so exciting getting to share a sneak peek at Macon Reed’s @macon_reed_studio upcoming release, “A ‘Pause Apothecary”👀 Stay tuned for its official release coming soon…
