Take your pots to the next level by learning to see the pot as a whole. Develop a critical eye for addressing the interaction between surface and form in your functional pottery. While this class will build on any existing throwing skills, experience on the wheel is recommended, but not necessary.
$240 members/$270 non-members. Tuition includes one bag of clay and firing fees. Registration is online only. Students register on a first come, first serve basis and your spot in the class is only guaranteed once WSW has received your payment in full through the website. Rachel Dubicki
Rachel Dubicki is a Hudson Valley native. In May of 2015, she received her BFA from Alfred University where she concentrated in ceramics, making functional tableware and using the wheel as her primary tool. After undergraduate, Rachel joined WSW as a Chili Bowl Workspace Resident. Since finishing, she has moved back to the area and is now an active member of the local art community and continuing her studio practice at Women’s Studio Workshop.
