Ceramic Jewelry Design

Tuition: $210 members/$235 non-members, includes one bag of clay and firing fees

Double the fun this winter with two instructors! Learn to integrate new surface techniques into ceramic jewelry design. Throughout this class, students will spend two weeks with each instructor, ending with a joint class on finishing techniques. Class time will include personal work time and one-on-one instructor assistance.

Artists

Cheyenne Mallo

Cheyenne Mallo graduated with a BFA in printmaking and ceramics from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls in 2010. Since relocating to the Hudson Valley in 2011, she has continued her studio practice making functional ceramics and continues exploring the Catskill Mountains that inspire her work. Rachel Dubicki

Rachel Dubicki is a Hudson Valley native. In May of 2015, she received her BFA from Alfred University where she concentrated in ceramics, making functional tableware and using the wheel as her primary tool. After undergraduate, Rachel joined WSW as a Chili Bowl Workspace Resident. Since finishing, she has moved back to the area and is now an active member of the local art community and continuing her studio practice at Women’s Studio Workshop.
