This workshop will walk participants step by step through the entire process of tapestry weaving. Tapestries have a rich history as both practical and decorative, political and social tools of communication. We will learn traditional joining techniques, but you will also be encouraged to embrace the mutability of textiles and experiment with the realm of possibilities. Each participant will walk away with their very own hand-made tensioned copper pipe loom and the understanding and confidence of tapestry techniques necessary to continue with their own personal practice. Participants do not need prior experience with fiber arts or weaving to participate in this workshop.

In order to reserve your space in the workshop, we require a deposit. Registration is on a first-come first-served basis, and you can read about our refund and cancellation policies here.
