Clarissa Sligh came to WSW in 2004 to produce her second artist’s book, Wrongly bodied two, 16 years after producing What’s happening with Momma during her first residency. A longtime resident of New York City and one of the leaders of Coast to Coast: A Women of Color National Artists’ Project, Clarissa has produced artists’ books published by WSW, Visual Studies Workshop and Nexus Press. Clarissa creates photo-text images, artists’ books and installation works. Clarissa is now a resident of North Carolina.
