Anne Thompson came from Missouri to silkscreen her artist’s book The Color-Word Value Index , a taxonomy of colors, words, symbols, and numbers based on color theory in psychology, mysticism, and early modernism. Anne holds an MFA in Painting and Printmaking from Yale. She is a contributing reviewer for Artforum and has been teaching a visual art seminar for the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Anne is moving in 2017 to Bennington, Vermont where she will be Director/Curator of the Usdan Gallery at Bennington College.
