🚨We’re Hiring! 🚨 Women’s Studio Workshop seeks to 🚨We’re Hiring! 🚨 Women’s Studio Workshop seeks to hire an Education Program Coordinator. This position supports the smooth operation of two key WSW programs: Summer Art Institute (SAI) and Art-in-Education (AIE). This is an in-person position with an anticipated start-date of January 2027, taking place at the WSW campus in Kingston, NY. Hourly requirements vary seasonally, at 24 hrs/week from September to May, and 40 hrs/week from June to August, paying $25/hour. Some weekend and evening work will be required. The application deadline is 11:59 PM EST on October 25th, 2026.

Maria has been on-site for over a week working on a very special exhibition that draws on ongoing bodies of work that build on one another: Counting to Infinity, Stelle Scopa, Beautiful Seven, and Heart of Stone. Come experience the show with the artist!

Reed invites us to dive into the world of all things menopause and peri-menopause through humor and their classic bold iconography and color palette. This publication is entirely silkscreen-printed and bound with drum leaf binding.

Produced as part of a growing movement to de-stigmatize menopause, “The ‘Pause Apothecary” began as an installation commissioned to help launch the first US national non-profit about menopause, Let’s Talk Menopause, in 2022. Taking the form of a fantastical pharmacy, each product addresses an aspect of menopausal and peri-menopausal experience. The Pause Apothecary is a catalog advertising the installation’s products, inviting awareness around experiences and building solidarity across healthcare issues impacted by gender-based discrimination, like menopause, abortion, and gender-affirming care.

Mark your calendars for October 5th to Emboss Like Mark your calendars for October 5th to Emboss Like a Boss💫

Let’s dive into the shiny world of tin embossing at October’s Meet & Make! Transform plain sheets of metal into garlands, ornaments, frames, and so much more. We’ll have 6” x 6” tin/aluminum sheets, embossing tools, and more available for shared use. Please keep in mind this craft uses metal that may have sharp edges. If children are attending, they must be supervised at all times.

⭐Items that may be useful to bring along with you:
Photos, if you’re interested in making frames
Printed designs that you can trace

⭐This is not a workshop. Examples and printed instructions will be available as resources. Skillshare is encouraged, and we’re happy to figure it out together.

Come with a friend or make some new ones while you’re here! A suggested sliding-scale donation of $5-20 is encouraged, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Please RSVP if you plan on attending. This will help us best prepare the amount of supplies and snacks to provide for the event. Thank you!
