Ross Mazzupappa

Ross Mazzupappa is the Assistant Professor of Printmaking and Photography at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. Ross specializes in Printmaking and Historic Photographic processes. He attended Youngstown State University where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art Printmaking/Painting in 2012. Ross went on to receive his Master of Arts in Printmaking with a minor emphasis in Sculpture from the University of Iowa in 2014, and his Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking with a minor emphasis in Photography from the University of Iowa in 2015. Ross’s artwork primarily focuses on issues surrounding the Rust Belt region of the United States. In 2015, he was granted a copyright for his research in developing a new photomechanical etching process. The process was demonstrated at the 2016 Mid America Print Council Biannual Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. His work has been shown nationally and internationally in various juried exhibitions, portfolios, and collections
