Tracey Bullington

Tracey Bullington is an artist and educator based in New Orleans. She works primarily in color woodcut but also creates drawings, videos and poetry. Her work is narrative based and is inspired by her own personal history and the stories of other people and places in New Orleans.

During her Art-in-Ed Artist’s Book Grant Residency at the Women’s Studio Workshop, Bullington will print and bind the artist’s book What’s Left (?), which documents conversations between Bullington and a group of young immigrants in her community about the things left behind when traveling to the United States.

Bullington holds a BFA from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and a MAT in art education from Tufts University.
