Tara Sabharwal
Tara Sabharwal is a painter and printmaker with studios in New York, New York and Delhi, India. While at WSW, she worked on an ongoing project, a series of three-plate etchings inspired by Shubert’s last sonata, as well as a series of monotypes and ink paintings. Her work explores dreams, tactile emotions, and the feeling of imagined spaces, both internal and external. She explores her identity through the visual interpretation of her personal narrative, stories of fantastic places, and her interest in nature and organic forms.
Tara holds a BFA from the MS University in Baroda, India and her Masters from the Royal College of Art, London.
