Rachel Frank
Born and raised in Kentucky, Rachel Frank received her MFA from The University of Pennsylvania. Her work uses sculpture, theatre and performance to explore the tensions between the natural world and the manmade, the animal and the political, and the past and theresent.
Rachel came to WSW to produce her artist’s book Sleep of Reason, based on a performance piece she presented in New York City in 2010. Sleep of Reason was performed again in 2011 at HERE in New York City and in 2015 at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Rachel currently lives and works in Brooklyn.
