Nancy W Diessner
Nancy Diessner uses digital manipulations, ink washes, and color to transform photographic images into photo-intaglio prints and artists’ books. Nancy first came to WSW in 1997 with a fellowship (now Workspace Residency) to work intaglio. In 2000 she received a WSW production grant for her artist’s book A Book of Myths and Fates. Nancy holds an MFA in Painting and Sculpture from Hunter College. After a 17-year college teaching career, Nancy now teaches at Zea Mays Printmaking and runs her own Dog’s Eye Print Studio.
