Kristina Paabus

Kristina Paabus earned her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She also studied Fine Arts and Religious Studies at University of Massachusetts-Amherst and Printmaking at The Estonian Academy of Arts. Kristina lives and works in Ohio where she is Assistant Professor of Reproducible Media at Oberlin College.

At WSW, Kristina developed work in the screen print studio. In addition to WSW, she has attended artist residencies at ACRE (WI), Ox-Bow (MI), Kimmel Harding Nelson (NE), Lillstreet (IL), Emmanuel College (MA), Culture Factory Polymer (Estonia), MUHU A.I. (Estonia), Samband Islenskra Myndlistarmanna (Iceland) and Inside Zone (Romania). Kristina has exhibited her work throughout the U.S. and Europe. She is a recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship for Installation Art in Estonia, the Grant Wood Fellowship in Printmakng at The University of Iowa, an Illinois Arts Council Grant and Oberlin College Faculty Research Grants.
