Kieran Riley Abbott, born and raised in Minneapolis, is a 2014 graduate of the University of Minnesota with a BFA in Printmaking. Recently she participated in the Jerome Emerging Printmakers Residency at Highpoint Center for Printmaking. She has previously interned in the letterpress studio at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. Kieran’s work, loosely based in screenprinting, is a result of her fascination with astronomical maps, optical illusions, diagrams, and cabinets of curiosity, among other things.
