Originally from Clearwater, Florida, Katie earned her BFA in Ceramics from the University of Florida. She interned at The Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, Montana and is currently working as Studio Coordinator and Instructor at Color Wheel Studio and as a studio assistant at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, both in Atlanta, Georgia. Her ceramic vessels combine double walled forms with elaborate carved designs and eyelet cut-outs. Katie joined WSW as the 2015 ceramics intern to help make hundreds of bowls, mugs, and tumblers for the annual Chili Bowl Fiesta.
