Joan Giordano is a NYC-based artist whose practice includes mixed-media sculptures, encaustic painting, and experimental printmaking. Joan held papermaking fellowships at WSW in both 2006 and 2008, most recently producing her “Presences” series of sentinel-like scrolls. Joan is a master papermaker who has made work at the Awagami Paper factory in Tokushima, Japan. She holds an MFA from Pratt Institute. In fall 2016, Joan will present a solo exhibition, Woven In Time, at the June Kelly Gallery in Manhattan.
