Gabrielle was born in London. She studied at the Glasgow School of Art, Instituto Superior de Arte, The Royal Drawing School and Turps Art School. She recently completed a fellowship at City and Guilds of London Art School. Alongside her artistic practice Gabrielle works in arts education across a variety of different institutions. Gabrielle is currently based in Glasgow, Scotland. Her work has been exhibited across the UK and internationally including in London, Glasgow, Berlin, and Havana.

Gabrielle is a process-based worker using painting, printmaking, cutting, sticking, making and hanging to form her practice. She is interested in exploring the ways that we communicate with one another, considering thoughts around absence + presence and experience + memory. Her work often looks at the ways in which things fit together, and how complex that is.
