Emily Gui is a Bard College graduate with a passion for printmaking and a strong background in figure painting; it is no surprise that her newer work is influenced by gender and sexualities. Much of her inspiration is derived from introspection and reflection about what it means to be a woman and an artist. Emily has assisted established Hudson Valley artists such as Jeffery Gibson and Lisa Sanditz.
