Em Miller
Em Miller is a printmaker and paleoartist based in New York City. eir art practice is concerned with deep time, evolution, and ecology, inspired by a lifelong love of nature and prehistory. Em received eir bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Skidmore College in 2020, and is currently a member of the Brooklyn community printshop Shoestring Press. eir artwork has been featured in the magazine Prehistoric Times and in exhibitions in New York, California, and Florida. Em has also been an Artist-in-Residence at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley, California, a Studio Intern at the Lower East Side Printshop, NYC, and a printing assistant for artist April Vollmer. As an educator, Em has performed printmaking demonstrations for the Art on Paper fair in 2024/2025 and for high school workshops in NYC, and now volunteers in the fossil halls at the American Museum of Natural History
