Cynthia Thompson is a printmaker, bookbinder, and papermaker who came to WSW to produce her artist’s book Conceal, which explores the body and notions of shame. She holds an MFA from the Mason Gross School of Art at Rutgers University, and her work is held in over 40 collections. Cynthia is Associate Professor and Director, MFA Book Arts and Printmaking and MFA Studio Art at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
