Courtney Parbs finds herself as the only half-filipino lesbian artist based in Milwaukee, WI. Trust her, she’s looked. In 2017 Parbs received her BFA in Printmaking from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. While working in the print labs during school she also interned at Team Nerd Letterpress, where she is currently the shop assistant. Since graduating she has shown in various exhibitions, and was a runner up in the Emerging Artist category of the Mary L. Nohl Fellowship.
