April Gertler is a German artist who came to WSW to produce the artist’s book Scars, which uses silkscreened photographic imagery and text to explore the residual affects of major life changes. April holds an MFA in photography from Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts, Bard College. She lives and work in Berlin.
