How do I know which tuition level is right for me?

WSW offers a sliding tuition model for the Summer Art Institute, and you can pick your desired tuition level from the drop-down menu at check-out. The pay-as-you-can model is not based on tax returns or documentation, but on your self-determined capacity to pay. Here are some suggestions to help you determine which tuition level to select!

$450, $550, or $650
These tuition levels might be right for you if…

• You are experiencing financial hardship, unemployment, or are supporting yourself or your family on minimal income
• You’re a full-time student or caregiver
• You’re underemployed, freelance, or work part-time with minimal benefits
• You have limited savings or no savings for emergencies

$750, $850, or $950
These tuition levels might be right for you if…

• You have steady employment or a moderate income but may have some financial obligations or debts
• Your financial situation is stable, but you may have to budget carefully for non-essential expenses
• You have access to reliable transportation and stable housing
• You can meet your basic living expenses (housing, food, healthcare) without assistance, and you have some savings for emergencies

$1100, $1200, or $1300
These tuition levels might be right for you if…

• You own a home, or are able to afford market-rate rent or higher
• Your lifestyle includes discretionary spending (e.g., dining out, entertainment, other purchases) or are saving for non-essential goals
• You have income, savings, assets, investments, or familial support you can draw upon with the ability to comfortably manage your financial situation
• You wish to support the community or others who may not have the same level of financial resources
