Susan has worked as the Senior Graphic Designer at both Lincoln Center and The New York Botanical Garden for many years. After coming to the Hudson Valley 8 years ago she became involved with Women’s Studio Workshop as a board member and volunteer in various capacities. She has been very active in the ceramics studio throughout that time and since the Spring of 2022 she has assisted studio manager Ruth McKinney Burket in preparing for the Chili Bowl fundraiser. She produced over 100 uniquely decorated bowls for the April 2023 event! Her interest is in the surface design and the storytelling possibilities found in the medium of clay.
