Sarah-Anne earned her BFA from Union University, Jackson in 2016. While there she concentrated in ceramics and painting, and since graduating she has worked in Baltimore, Woodstock, and Natchez, Mississippi pursuing different ceramic internships and residencies. Currently her work combines cartoons inspired by the plants she encountered growing up and repeating patterns. These images are applied to functional pottery as a way for the user and herself to be connected through its use and experiences that the images depict.
