Amy Jacobs

Amy Jacobs received her MFA in Interdisciplinary Book & Paper Arts from Columbia College Chicago and studied at Penland School of Craft as part of the Core Fellowship Program. She is currently the Senior Director of Artistic Projects at Dieu Donné, and has collaborated with artists such as Lynda Benglis, Do Ho Suh, Ann Hamilton, Howardena Pindell, and many others. She has taught workshops at institutions including Yale University, the Museum of Modern Art, Penland School of Craft, the New York Public Library, and the University of Georgia Studies Abroad program in Cortona, Italy. Using a textile-based exploration of imagery, her own work embraces traditional and experimental papermaking techniques.
