Instagram post 2193258986597745379_214577245 Mary Tremonte has been hard at work in our silkscreen studio printing hand-designed patterns onto yards of fabric! These repetitive patterns investigate feminist and queer ecologies, and help to expand printmaking beyond the two-dimensional rectangle.

Interested in seeing some of her amazing work in person? Join Mary at Sassafras Mercantile December 8th from 1:00 to 6:00 pm for a pop up show and DJ dance party. Swipe for all the details!
Instagram post 2191823231056844495_214577245 Come celebrate the talented student artists who worked in WSW studios this fall! The opening reception for our Art-in-Education exhibition is December 7 from 5-7 pm at the idea garden. We hope to see you there!
Instagram post 2191598597069851864_214577245 Now that #GivingTuesday is over, we can take a deep breath because we reached our fundraising goal! We want to extend a huge and heartfelt thank you to all of our WSW fans for sharing and contributing to our campaign. Stay tuned for more information on when our new #biggestfan will be joining the WSW campus!
Instagram post 2191081903637373274_214577245 We’re blown away by all the support from our #biggestfans! On this day of giving, please consider using your dollar to support the advancement of a happy and healthy collaborative workspace for artists! We are *so close* to our goal of $5,000—you can help by donating before midnight tonight! Link in bio!
Instagram post 2190913217857220108_214577245 Just to clear the air… We want to let you know that WSW has always sought to use low-toxicity materials and processes in our studios! Unfortunately, the 19th century architecture that makes the studio so stunning also makes installing an exhaust fan more complicated. Here’s how you can help: show us that you’re WSW’s #biggestfan by making a gift today. Each dollar you give brings us one step closer to cleaner air for all who use our space. Link is in our bio!

Instagram post 2190823604018790280_214577245 TODAY IS THE DAY, and we need your help! If we raise $5000 it will cover the cost of a basic non-sparking exhaust system and a new duct system for our solvent room. If we raise $12,000 it will cover the cost of a non-sparking exhaust system for our solvent room, with a studio extension that will include two movable extractor arms that can be placed over other areas within the studio. This system will remove toxic air fumes, dust, and vapor created during various intaglio processes. Learn how you can help through the #givingtuesday link in our bio.
Instagram post 2190439838473734789_214577245 We’ve got plenty of fans over here at WSW, but we’re trying to get the #biggestfan of all! Tomorrow, help us achieve our goal of $5,000 for a new exhaust system in our historic intaglio studios to provide the safest, cleanest air possibe for resident artists, Summer Art Institute participants, and local Art-In-Education students.
