Undine Brod is an artist based in Rhinebeck, NY working primarily in ceramics. She has a BFA from University of Washington and an MFA from Ohio State University. While at WSW, Undine created several clay busts of surreal animals, each balancing on a fine line between fantastical and unsettling. She made these almost familiar creatures without a reference, relying solely on the memory of what certain animals are supposed to look like.
