Terry Schupbach-Gordon
Terry Schupbach-Gordon is an artist, storyteller, puppeteer, co-director of Catbird Press, and advocate for disability issues. Working in printmaking, drawing, and artists’ books, Terry was awarded a Production Grant to produce her artist’s book Bent Like the River, which uses lyrical poetry and woodcuts of bodies and waterways to celebrate and affirm the lives of people living with disabilities. Terry’s work is held in many public and private collections, and she regularly gives collaborative workshops celebrating book arts, poetry, and literacy. She holds an MFA from Indiana University and currently lives and works in North Carolina.
