Sara Quinn is an educator and book artist. She lives in New Orleans. She primarily works in artists’ books and illustration. She is interested in longing—the longing that pulled fish out of the water to walk on land and then brought the predecessors of whales back in, to lose their limbs and move again in the deepest places. Sara is trying to figure out how to make children’s books that they actually want to read, that they want to carry around in their backpacks and keep under their pillows, that shift the world that they are growing into.
