Paige Nguyen

Paige Nguyen is a Vietnamese American printmaker and book artist based in the Oklahoma City metro. Her prints explore how mundane actions, such as meal preparation and fashion, have changed over generations of her family to become blended with American belief systems. She views print as a media that communicates layered experiences over generations, and books as educational tools to describe experiences of minority communities. She received her BA in Studio Art and Art History from Oklahoma State University. Most recently, she has exhibited in juried exhibitions nationally at venues such as The Art Galleries at Austin Community College (Austin, TX), Art Lofts Gallery at University of Wisconsin—Madison (Madison, WI), and Kai Lin Art (Atlanta, GA). She has received purchase prizes from the Kohler Art Gallery and the OSU Museum of Art. She currently teaches printmaking to high school students at ARTSPACE at Untitled in Oklahoma City.
