Mexico-born, Texas-raised artist Sara Cardona creates mixed-media work influenced by her relationship with the theater and film. As an emerging artist, she was awarded a WSW fellowship (now Workspace Residency) to work in our etching studio on a series of prints based on her grandfather’s poetry. Sara has since earned an MFA in painting from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and is currently on the faculty of Richland College in Dallas.
