Martha Friedman came to WSW to work in our etching studio. Her process focuses on the traces left on printing plates as pathways to new imagery, building up and altering forms as the series evolves. Martha holds a BA in Fine Arts from Brandeis University and an MPS in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute. She lives and works in Cambridge, MA.
