Working collaboratively as Leone & Macdonald from 1988 to 1998, New York artists Hillary Leone and Jennifer Macdonald addressed pressing social and political issues. During the 90s, Leone & Macdonald exhibited internationally and were included in the 1993 Whitney Biennial. Hillary and Jennifer came to WSW to work in our papermaking studio, making sheets out of their personal ephemera. Hillary holds a BFA from California Institute of the Arts and was a Whitney Independent Study Program fellow. Jennifer holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts. They both currently live in New York City.
