Emmanuelle Giora came from Paris, France to work in WSW’s screen print studio. She began her residency by printing images of violent explosions. In her travels outside the studio, she found old postcards of local pastoral landscapes. She returned to the studio to make large-scale reproductions of the landscapes with texts taken from headlines in the New York Times.
