Miriam Beerman
Miriam Beerman is a figurative expressionist who began her formal artistic training studying under John Frazier and Yasuo Kuniyoshi. Beerman has been making art for over 60 years, responding to the brutality of the times in which she has lived. While working at the Womens Studio Workshop, Beerman produced a portfolio of intaglio prints titled Faces. Miriam’s work can be found in the following collections: Metropolitan Museum of Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, Brooklyn Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and many more.
