Holland-born, Massachusetts-based mixed media artist Merike Van Zanten makes sculptural paper forms and artists books using found materials. At WSW, she worked as a Workspace Resident on a series of altered books dealing with depression and mental health. Merike holds a BA in ceramics from University for the Creative Arts in the UK. She has work in private collections in the Netherlands, England, and the US.
