Melissa Ann Wood

Melissa Ann Wood’s interdisciplinary practice utilizes paintings on canvas, photographs, installations, assemblage and sculpture, and works on paper. At WSW, she explored the Cliche-verre technique of intaglio printing, a hybrid method of printmaking and photography. Melissa received her BFA from Washington University School of Fine Art in St. Louis with an emphasis in printmaking. Her exhibition venues have included the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Artists Gallery, and Crocker Art Museum (Sacramento).
