Marisa Malone was born in Reno, NV and escaped to Olympia, WA where she attended The Evergreen State College. As an undergrad she studied literature, writing and gender studies. During and after college she cut her teeth working for small commercial letterpress shops doing administrative and production work. As a writer she is published in BlazeVox Journal and Selfish Magazine. As an artist she likes drawing mundane objects and the female body. As a person she enjoys making a perfect fried egg.
