Maria Vonn is an MFA candidate in painting at State University of New York, New Paltz. She came to WSW as a Workspace Resident to make sheets of skin-like handmade paper embedded with hair, responding to her interests in how internal stress and anxiety are manifested physically in hair pulling and skin picking. She lives and works in New Paltz.
