Margaret Henkels creates hand built sculptures that reflect architecture, landscape, and everyday objects. She came to WSW from Austin, TX on a fellowship (now Workspace Residency) to explore her own small hand-built sculptures in addition to producing 100 bowls for the annual Chili Bowl Fiesta. Margaret studied at Wellesley and holds a BA from New York University and has taught ceramics at WSW and in children’s programming across NYC.
